Motorcycle insurance: Why Coverages are so important in Motorcycle Insurance

Most people consider only price when buying motorcycle insurance. The problem with this approach is that you’re not comparing which dozen eggs is cheaper. The coverages that are cut to reduce the premium are often the ones that protect your life or the lives of others. These are commonly known as Bodily Injury, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists coverage and Medical Payments. That whole “name your price” thing should be confined to non-life-altering purchases like a hotel room or a flight.  If you can only save money by reducing your coverages, you are shooting yourself in the foot.
